Immediate opening: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Johnson County, Texas. You will be based on a commercial building project. Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Six days a week, one day off.
