Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Manistee County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
