Restoration bricklayer — Payette County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Payette County, Idaho. Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Six days a week, one day off. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
