Dry lining plasterer — Matagorda County

Join our team: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Matagorda County, Texas. The job is at a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Six days a week, one day off.
