Rebar worker wanted in Tyler County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Tyler County, West Virginia. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
