Vacancy available: foundry worker (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Putnam County, Georgia. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Part-time with flexible hours.
