Brick and block layer — Wayne County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Wayne County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
