Join our team: we are hiring a carpenter in Butler County, Iowa. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. The role involves build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
