Elevator service technician — Oneida County

Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways The role involves top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; run load and overload tests with test weights.
