Coating plant operator — Fairfax County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Fairfax County, Virginia. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Day-to-day duties: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
