TIG welder — Wilson County

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Wilson County, Kansas. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage You will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
