Formwork erector • Montcalm County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork erector in Montcalm County, Michigan. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Your main tasks: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Six days a week, one day off.
