Immediate opening: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Jefferson County, Kentucky. The job is on a housing development site. Day to day you will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. You should have: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Rotating shifts.
