Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Marion County, Texas. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Day to day you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
