Vacancy available: earthmoving plant operator (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. The job is in an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently You will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
