Now hiring: we are hiring a maintenance painter in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. The job is at a busy decorating firm. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage On the job you will handle: • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Sand and fill walls before applying primer 5+ years on the tools preferred.
