Fettler — Cleveland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Cleveland County, Arkansas. The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
