Precision welder — Kankara

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Kankara, Katsina State. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
