Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Adair County, Kentucky. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds On a typical shift you will pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; clean condenser and evaporator coils; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil.
