HSE officer — Ramsey County

Now hiring: we are hiring a HSE officer in Ramsey County, Minnesota. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
