Foundry worker wanted in Rice County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Rice County, Minnesota. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
