Trainee butcher — Arlington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Arlington County, Virginia. You will work at a wholesale meat market. On the job you will handle: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $8,000 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
