Immediate opening: we are hiring a deboner in Wheeler County, Oregon. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
