We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. The job is in an automotive parts factory. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Day to day you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
