Pastry baker — Abadam

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Abadam, Borno State. The job is at a cake shop. On the job you will handle: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics 6+ years on the tools preferred.
