Power press operator wanted in Windsor County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Windsor County, Vermont. You will be based at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 2+ years on the tools preferred.
