Control panel electrician • Arenac County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a control panel electrician in Arenac County, Michigan. You will be based in a power distribution substation. You should have: • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds The role involves: • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Test insulation resistance with a megger At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
