Heavy equipment operator • Page County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Page County, Virginia. You will work at a stone quarry. The role involves: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines What we are looking for: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services We offer $15 per hour plus benefits.
