Shakeout operator — Wudil

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Wudil, Kano State. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer ₦160,000 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts.
