Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Hood River County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator.
