Power float operator — Kitsap County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Kitsap County, Washington. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Part-time with flexible hours.
