Gas metal arc welder — Haskell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Haskell County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
