Concrete placer • Kirklees, England

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Kirklees, England. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Your main tasks: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
