Rigging foreman — Turner County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Turner County, South Dakota. The job is at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
