Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Sumter County, Georgia. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
