Restoration bricklayer — Upshur County

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Upshur County, Texas. The role involves cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Rotating shifts.
