Crane operator wanted in Apapa

Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts You will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
