Gang bricklayer — Dane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Dane County, Wisconsin. The job is at a renovation and extension job. You will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time with occasional weekends.
