Rough terrain crane operator — Barnstable County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
