Concrete pump mate — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Jackson County, Kansas. You will be based on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Part-time with flexible hours.
