Stitching operator — Stokes County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Stokes County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Your main tasks: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
