Vertical transportation technician — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Jackson County, Oklahoma. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways The role involves: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Rotating shifts.
