Thermal insulation technician — Nottoway County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Nottoway County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
