Immediate opening: foundry labourer (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Clay County, Iowa. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
