Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Hamilton County, Iowa. You will work at an automotive components factory. You will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
