Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands.
