Gas installation technician — Rush County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Rush County, Indiana. The job is in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Your main tasks: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes Full-time, day shift.
