Tracked excavator operator — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Washington County, New York. You will work on a housing development site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Day-to-day duties: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Rotating shifts.
