Immediate opening: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Pleasants County, West Virginia. You will be based at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures On a typical shift you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook.
