Now hiring: groundworker (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Wokingham, England. You will work on a residential housing site. Your main tasks: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. £2,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
